Thank you to Dr Yoko Tanabe and Joyce Heron for a superb day of coaching at the Centre of Excellence in Walsall. All present were clearly inspired at the quality of the delivery. Important to take the good work back into the dojo.

We have an excellent team of female Judoka about to compete in New York at the New York Athletics Club.

We were delighted to host a team of Judo instructors from Japan in February, including Yoko Tanabe, 7th Dan. 

Following a meeting in Japan in November with the London Area Chairman, we were delighted to host a visit from Gunjo Watanabe 8th Dan, Yoko Tanabe 7th Dan, Harukuni Shimoyama 6th Dan, and Koji Komuro 6th Dan who provided a coaching and technical workshop at the Budokwai over the weekend 23/24 February 2019. This was very well attended and enjoyed by all.
