It has been a busy Summer here at The Budokwai in our centenary year. Some of Team Budokwai traveled to Wales in July to participate in the National Teams event.
Last week #TheBudokwai was delighted to celebrate the twinning of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea with Fukushima, Japan. Fukushima will be the host region to #TeamGB at the #Tokyo2020 #Olympics British and Japanese students exchanged cultural activities which included #dance and #poetry. Everyone enjoyed the exquisite Japanese cuisine courtesy of #Benihana #KingsRoad

The Budokwai was saddened to hear of the death of former Aikido sensei John Cornish.
Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this sad time.
